Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, supervise, and coach a team of maintenance technicians performing preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance.
- Set daily priorities, assign work, and ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
- Train and mentor technicians to strengthen electrical, mechanical, and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Reinforce safe work practices, lockout/tagout, and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Plan, schedule, and track preventive and corrective maintenance activities using SAP PM.
- Develop and maintain effective PM routines to improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Conduct equipment inspections and identify potential failure risks; recommend and implement corrective actions.
- Partner with production and operations to coordinate maintenance activities with minimal disruption.
- Perform and/or oversee installation, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial electrical systems, including motors, starters, drives, sensors, and control devices.
- Troubleshoot mechanical systems at the component level, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems.
- Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to support safe and accurate repairs.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues using appropriate diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters, amp probes).
- Partner with the Plant Sourcing Team to manage critical spare parts inventory and ensure availability of key components.
- Support maintenance budget management with a focus on spare parts planning and cost control.
- Apply Lean tools and continuous improvement methods to improve equipment uptime and maintenance efficiency.
- Partner with the Center of Excellence (COE) and corporate teams to support trials, projects, and new initiatives.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, equipment histories, and spare parts documentation.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Promote and sustain a strong safety culture across the maintenance team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
- Journeyman‑level electrical or mechanical experience preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, including leadership or lead‑level responsibility.
- Hands‑on experience with electrical, mechanical, and safety‑related instrumentation systems in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, mechanical maintenance, and troubleshooting best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a small maintenance team.
- Experience with CMMS systems (SAP PM preferred).
- Strong planning, prioritization, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and drive corrective actions.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
- Clear communicator who can work effectively with operations, engineering, and leadership.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Willingness to support off‑shift work, weekends, or emergencies as needed.
