Role: Global Product & Market Leader (Glass Reinforcements)
Location: Remote - Europe
We’re looking for a Global Product & Market Leader to shape strategy and accelerate profitable growth for our Glass Reinforcements portfolio. You’ll own market and product strategy, customer and innovation roadmaps, and the commercialization of new products—partnering closely with Sales, Strategic Marketing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Science & Technology.
Scope: Global product leadership for Continuous Filament Mat (CFM) and regional (Europe) leadership for Chopped Strand Mat (CSM).
What you’ll do
- Define and execute product, market, and customer strategy to maximize profitability and outpace market growth.
- Build and prioritize a customer and innovation portfolio (including VOC, competitive landscape, and technology trends).
- Develop clear value propositions, positioning, and business cases for the portfolio.
- Lead stage-gated commercialization of new and improved products (requirements, stewardship, and launch readiness).
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Pricing to set go-to-market plans, pricing strategy, and launch messaging.
- Develop and carry out product, market, and customer plans that boost profits and help the business grow faster than the competition.
- Monitor codes/standards and regulatory drivers; identify growth opportunities and define differentiated customer solutions.
- Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver to scope, timeline, and budget, drive quality through the full lifecycle.
- Communicate product and portfolio changes clearly, support training for customers and commercial teams.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years working in a multinational manufacturing organization working in marketing / strategic marketing consulting with customer-facing experience.
- 8+ years in product or category management in technical product marketing and/or industrial markets (materials science, chemicals, composites, industrial manufacturing, engineered materials).
- Experience working with teams and stakeholders across all global time zones,
- Track record building product strategy, positioning, and pricing; managing margins and portfolio lifecycle.
- Strong quantitative/analytical capability (financial modeling, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making).
- Ability to influence cross-functionally without authority; strong executive-ready communication.
- Willingness to travel up to 25–50%.
